Well, I see there is a character limit. As for Tyler, my sister and her family have lived there since 2002. The city is still pretty good, just plagued with annoying traffic that has accompanied urban growth.
How I appreciate this podcast. Regarding the best places to live in Texas, I think the Big Bend area would be fabulous. Marfa, Alpine, Marathon, Fort Davis. You would be left alone and crime is very low out there. Trouble is, most people couldn’t hack it out there. You would need to be an outstanding, resourceful and stalwart person who doesn’t mind the considerable isolation and lack of amenities.
